My name is Brooklynn Coburn, and I’m an aspiring librarian. I have been chasing this dream my entire life, and it’s finally coming to fruition. I am now pursuing my Master of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa. When I’m not studying library science, or working at my local public library, I like to read about people who inspire me, participate in initiatives to protect our public library systems, and day dream about making a difference. To ask why we need libraries at all, when there is so much information available elsewhere, is about as sensible as asking if roadmaps are necessary now that there are so very many roads.
